Dear Counselors at ACCIS member schools,
 
In 2010, the ACCIS Board of Trustees established the Marty Elkins Award for Excellence in College Counseling.  Our intent was to recognize the founder of ACCIS, Marty Elkins, who won the first award that was presented at NACAC 2010.  We also wanted to establish an award that would honor individuals who embody the ACCIS Mission and enrich our profession.
 
Please take a moment to review the ACCIS Mission below and nominate a worthy colleague within our profession.  A nomination includes the name of the person, his/her school or organization, and three bullet points why the person should be considered for the award.  Please send your nominations to me at rdavis@viewpoint.org
 
The ACCIS Board of Trustees will select an honoree and give the award at the ACCIS General Membership meeting at NACAC 2012 in Denver.
